SOCIAL MEDIA IS A HUNGRY BEAST
It's like filling up a teenage boy. However much you have in the cupboard, it never lasts as long as you think! Like so many things, it's all in the planning. Prior to being a photographer, I spent 15 years working in PR so I understand branding. If you already have a clear idea of what you want to do - that's great but I can also help with you some ideas of what we could do. I specialise in photographing people and in particular photography for small businesses.
Whether it's social media, updating your website, sending out mail shots and newsletters, photos are central to show off your unique business. First and foremost, there's you. It's headshot photography. You, looking into the lens, at your ideal client, in an environment (and light!) that best suits you. It's not that painful, I promise! But it is really important that you are visible and photographed professionally. No more need for selfies or chopping someone out of your holiday photos! You are your business after all.
Then there's you in action - showing off how you do what you do, whether hand-packing your product, consulting with a client or making something beautiful. And the products themselves. Lighting and styling are key here and the way they're photographed is integral to your brand.
Last, but by means least, are your products in action - business lifestyle photography. This will probably be the protein that sustains your feed. It's your products being used in the way you want them to be by the people you want to buy them.
Business lifestyle photography allows you to show your brand and its essence clearly, bringing it to life.
As well as taking professional business photos for you, I can also give you pointers on how to compose your own photos, finding the best light and locations with you.
